Advance Review/Reader Copy (ARC) Reviewers

Hello Potential ARC Reviewer...
We’re thrilled that you would be interested in reviewing our paranormal/historical Romantasy, I Am the White Horse.

The Story
The story is driven by a young Indian woman called Little Dove of the Tohono O’odham nation, her magical white horse, and James, the Irish immigrant she falls in love with during the late Victorian era in the Old West (Weird West genre?). Their close friends are Eagle Eyes of the Chiricahua Apache nation, and Comba, a freed African slave. Bent on destroying them all is Lady Athena Templeton, a complex, self-destructive villainess who mobilizes a criminal army against them.

Fated Mates
The main trope is Fated Mates, not only for the protagonists, but for secondary characters, as well, as their love stories resonate with the main romance. (Please see “Tropes”)

HEA, 4/5 Heat Level
The story is HEA (happily ever after) and has many twists and turns, shocking surprises, haunting battle scenes, the spectral and mystical, humor, and delicious lovemaking (4/5 chili peppers by romance.io), but the main focus is on family, tolerance and love.

Professional Review
Professional reviewer, Denise Donaldson, of Reader Views Editorial (please see “Media Reviews”) wrote a rave review of the book as part of a literary awards competition, and a dozen readers have written glowing reviews, as quoted on the website.

Official Publication Date
The book is printed, but the official publication date is Dec 1, 2026, with the main campaign starting after Jan 1, 2027. Your ARC Reviews cannot be posted until publication date on Goodreads, Amazon, The StoryGraph and other outlets. The book is for sale on this website to individuals right now, but not to retail outlets until the publication date.

Blended Genres: History, Magic, and Romance
As this book is a genre that blends three distinct elements—supernatural elements (paranormal), a specific time period (historical) and a central romance with fantasy elements (romantasy), the authors and publisher are looking for niche reviewers who understand these subgenres.

What an ARC Reviewer May Wish to Comment On
We would appreciate it if the ARC reviewer would comment on the story, narrative and characters, world-building, magic, paranormal elements (supernatural), historical accuracy, fantasy, tropes and anything else you feel is pertinent. In this book, the main trope is Fated Mates in a slow-burn story, with Native Indian and Immigrant Irishman leads. It features a magical protector, a White Horse, and a 4/5 spice level with loving, caring, tender lovemaking.

Your Expectations as an ARC Reviewer
If accepted, you will receive a digital ARC (ePub or PDF, distributed to you by BookSirens or PenPinery) via email. By agreeing to review
I Am the White Horse, you would leave an honest review on Goodreads, BookBub, Amazon, and other media on or after (not before) our December 1, 2026 launch day. There is no compensation for reading and reviewing the book, but, if you live in the United States, we would be happy to send you a free printed Illustrated Edition copy of the book.

If You Would Like to Review the Book as an Advance Reader, here are Questions To Consider
1.   What is your preferred spice/heat level? Are you comfortable reviewing a book with 4/5 chili peppers? The intimate scenes are loving, caring, tender, tasteful, naughty and fun. Nothing is gratuitous. Please see more at “Spice Level.”
2.   Please provide links to your active book review platforms such as Goodreads, Bookstagram, BookTok, The StoryGraph, BookBub, Amazon Reviewer Profile or Blog.
3.   Do you have a specific content trigger you try to avoid? Please see more at “Content Warning.”
